My name is Yvonne Bell-Creason. I am currently teaching my 26th year of special education. I graduated from Bellarmine College in 1990 and moved to Cape May, NJ where I taught my first year. I then moved back home to Kentucky and was hired at Cedar Grove Elementary where I taught for two years. I moved to Roby in the fall of 1993 and have been here since then. I earned my Masters degree through Western Kentucky University in 1996 and my Rank I degree from Indiana University South East. I love teaching at Roby and I can't imagine teaching anywhere else! I love our Roby students and families and this feels like home to me. I enjoy my students and we have so much fun together. We build very close relationships because we often spend more than one year together. My students understand that I am here to help them be successful at school and we work hard to teach them strategies and techniques to help them with that.
I have been married to Bobby Creason for nearly 27 years. We have three children that keep us hopping all the time! Our son Jason is 24, he got married to a wonderful girl last spring. He is currently in graduate school and they are expecting our first grandchild this September. Our daughter, Kylee is 21 and just graduated a semester early, earning her bachelors degree at Campbellsville University in December. She also got engaged in December and is busy planning her wedding for June 2017. She is currently substitute teaching and will begin working on her Masters Degree this fall. Our youngest son, Nolan is a sophomore at Bullitt Central where he plays basketball and stays very busy. He recently got his drivers permit and that has been an adventure! Our family has lived in Bullitt County since fall of 1999. We have been very happy here. My children all attended Roby Elementary, Bullitt Lick Middle and Bullitt Central High Schools.
